Doctoral Program: IIBAT aspires to imbibe scientific vigor among the scientific community so that it carries out fundamental and applied research towards gaining doctoral degree based on its affiliation with the University of Madras, Chennai.
Science Club Initiatives: A fortnightly program is organized at IIBAT coordinated by the in-house scientists with an objective of sharing recent advancements in science and technology by inviting experts from academia, industries and other research institutions for a guest lecture.
Scientific and Academic Board (SAB): A team of renowned scientists from academic and research institutions, and industries formed together as SAB to guide the institution and its scientists towards excellence in research and its academic endeavors.
IIBAT, being a non-profit research institution, performs many socially relevant scientific projects with the support of DBT, DST, ICSSR, TNSCST, BIRAC and ICM.
